Performance & maintenance massage Regular bodywork that releases tension, improves range of motion and keeps your horse supple between rides. With pressure-point checks that catch small issues before they become big ones. 
Rehabilitation & recovery Targeted therapy for horses coming back from injury or time off. I find the problem areas, work until your horse is comfortable, and build a recovery plan you can follow between visits.

What happens during an equine massage visit?
Every visit starts with a full-body, head-to-tail assessment, including key pressure points. I then work each problem area with focused massage and bodywork, explain what I’m finding as I go, and leave you with simple exercises to keep the progress going between visits.
How often should my horse be massaged?
It depends on your horse’s workload, age and goals. Horses in regular work or competition usually benefit from routine bodywork, while pleasure horses may need less frequent visits. After your first session, I’ll recommend a schedule that fits your horse.
What areas do you serve?
Grace Equine Therapy is based in Smiths Falls, Ontario and travels barn-to-barn across the Ottawa to Kingston corridor, including Perth, Carleton Place, Ottawa, Brockville, Kingston and the communities in between.
Can my horse be treated at shows and competitions?
Yes. I’m an FEI Permitted Equine Therapist, which means I can legally treat horses at FEI-sanctioned events, from pre-ride preparation to post-class recovery.
